Castles, Cobblestones & Candles

So... I know I have only spent one night in Edinburgh, but its fair to say I am absolutely in love! We have arrived on the wind down of the Fringe festival but it still has the most amazing feel. The streets are so pretty and the whole place just seems so enchanted, like a fairytale.  It’s a shame I only have 3 days here… I know I will definitely be back! Maybe even to work, who knows?

The weather has been peaking around 12 degrees, its a bit of a shock to the system but a nice change.  I am loving being rugged up, eating soup and having cups of tea... in the day anyway? Too much fiesta in the night, It's true when people say hang overs get harder as you get older. Ouch my head!!!!!!

The Royal Mile
In amongst the Fringe action
(Mum, please send money for new stockings)
 Poetry extracts
Spitting on the old taxation office
for goodluck
(Its a Scottish tradition!!)
 Rubbing toes for goodluck
 Peppermint tea
 ...and cake
 Chamomile tea
 ...and cake
Green tea
(cleansing tea)
Yikes!!
 Cobblestone streets
Edinburgh Castle
Tonight's show should provide some insight...
Drinking long island ice teas with the Columbians at an Irish pub in Scotland
Cups of tea in the day- Jagerbombs in the night

I LOVED Edinburgh, its the first place i have really fallen in love with straight away... If all things go well, I will be residing and working there from November. Fingers crossed!!

En Route

Bianca and I have just completed 3 months of full on backpacking, we covered Central & Western Europe.  Places included Paris-France, Switzerland, Florence, Rome, Venice-Italy, Corfu-Greece, Albania, Dubrovnik-Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Prague-Czech Republic, Amsterdam-The Netherlands, Belgium, Pamplona, San Sebastian, Barcelona, Valencia, Ibiza-Spain, Mykonos, Santorini, Ios, Athens-Greece, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi-Amalfi Coast Italy.
Woh it looks like a lot!
Actually... it was a lot!
We have returned to London tanned, tired, sick and slightly chubbier.
It was Amazing! Majority of the time was spent in Spain and Greece-Spain being the absolute fravourite.
With too much mucho fiesta, we now have an appreciation for siesta!
We depart again on Sunday for another 2 months, starting with the Fringe Festival in Scotland, then hiring a car in Ireland, to Germany for Oktoberfest (PROST!), then heading east for Sail Croatia, onto Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey and finally Hungary.
In the scheme of things it doesn't look like much but it's a start! I'm so excited, I just wish i didn't have to take Hayden along. He's such a drag.
BAM! haha
Cant wait for Ireland! Bring on the music & the infamous meal in a glass!

A quick introduction..

I just want to introduce you all to the most hated man pack in my life.
He puts so much weight on my shoulders,
always on my back,
bringing me down.
He is a real pain in the neck!!!!!

Introducing Hayden!
Also known as H-Doz or you stupid F*ing pack.
Hayden, the skinny loser pack

There he is weighing me down

This is him and his friend Chad.

Chad the fat loser pack
Also known as Choad
Chad is chubby, short and overweight

PACK BURNING PARTY-2012
(pardon the puns)

I've given in!

I've listened to the blogging world and I have finally given in.

... Well actually I lie, my traveling partner is currently bed ridden with the flu and I have lots of spare time on my hands so a blog it is!
I have realized that there is no better time than the present to start a blog. I am so far away from the people I love the most and I want to stay in contact as often as I can. As I am totally hopeless when it comes to emails and replies this is going to be the easiest way..

Please forgive the roughness, I am not the greatest writer or the greatest photographer but I will try my hardest.
Enjoy!

Ps. Incase you were wondering- I was totally lost for a title of my blog and then i remembered my anogram name. China Hairstyle is the letters of christinaleahy mixed up.
